Mixology Renaissance in NYC
Today, we are experiencing a cocktails renaissance throughout the country, especially in New York City. No longer content with old standards like the gin and tonic or margaritas, people are turning to "mixology bars" that feature fresh ingredients, high-end spirits and an attention to minute details when creating concoctions. Patrons are flocking to Milk & Honey, Apotheke, Employees Only and a host of other "old school" bars for their takes on classic cocktails. It should be noted that Mad Men stars John Hamm (Don Draper) and John Slattery (Roger Sterling) have visited the Employees Only bar and, bartenders there will show you how to make a Manhattan like Draper does.
Learn to Mix Cocktails Like a Pro
