Summer Cooking Camp At Taste Bud Kitchen
If you are looking for something fun for your child to take part in this summer, check out summer cooking camp at taste bud kitchen! With different programs offered to different age groups, there is something fun for all to participate in! You can choose to sign your child up to participate in daily classes or weekly programs. Glenwood residents, keep reading to find out how to give your child a unique and fun summer experience!
Summer Camp Options
At Taste bud kitchen’s summer cooking camp, located at 109 West 27thStreet, you will make 2-3 recipes each day! You will be making at least 1 savory and 1 sweet recipe like spinach potato gnocchi and brownie bites!
Morning Camp
Ages range from 4-8 years old
Camp is from 9am-12pm, drop off starts at 8:30am
Urban Foodies Camp
Duration is 10am-1pm
Ages range from 11-16 years old
Afternoon Camp
Duration is 1pm-4pm
Ages range from 9-13 years old
Advanced Camp
Duration is 1:30pm-4:30pm
Ages range from 13-17 years old
The camp is closest to Glenwood residents living in midtown west, but is definitely a fun activity for all residents’s children living uptown and downtown!
A Day In The Life Of A Camper
Depending upon what program you sign your child up for, he or she will get to explore cooking in different ways! The Urban Foodies Camp gets your child out exploring different types of food! Each day they will go with their group to a new food spot, learn about the cuisine and be able to ask the chefs questions! Click here to find out more details about each different program!
If your child is 11 years old or older they are able to enroll in the urban foodies camp and the afternoon camp for a full day of fun!
Taste Bud Kitchen also has a bake sale every Thursday at 11:30am and 3:30pm, which benefits cookies for kids cancer!

Council In Training
If your child is 10 years or older, they can enroll as a counselor in training and help out from 9am-4pm. What a great way to spend the summer if your child is a interested in cooking and ready to handle a little more responsibility!
