Accommodations

When booking your stay, you can choose from a Summit Tent, Outlook Shelter, or a Journey+ tent. Each will provide you with a slightly different experience. The Summit Tent is a luxurious tent with a bohemian feel that has both wifi and air conditioning. The Outlook Shelter is a physical mini structure with expansive beautiful windows. The Journey+ experience is a more traditional, rustic camping feel if that seems exciting for you! 

Once settled in, there is a delicious farm to island restaurant with a large focus on seafood! As a guest on the island, you can even take culinary lessons. Visit the Collective Governors Island to find out more activities available to guests.

How to get there?

Getting to Governor’s Island is simple! It is just an 8 minute water taxi ride from downtown Manhattan. The ferry departs from The Battery Maritime Building located at 10 South Street. Be sure to buy a ferry ticket ahead of time. Start your vacation off early by exploring the downtown area before you embark on your fun glamping journey.
