A Museum Day With The Family

The American Museum of Natural History is always a family favorite museum! If your kids like dinosaurs or animals- they will have countless hours of amusement here! Don’t forget to go to the whale room and see the enormous scaled whale above your heads! There is currently the Butterfly Conservatory open through May 2020 that will allow your little ones to get up very close to observe butterflies! Is your child into space? Then go visit the Planetarium- there are tons of interactive ways for your kids (or you) to learn more about space here! The Natural History Museum is located at  200 Central Park West and is located close to Glenwood’s Westside and Upper East Side buildings.

The Children’s Museum of Manhattan located at 212 W 83rd Street is a great place to spend your day with your children. On top of great exhibits, this month, the museum opened Superpowered Metropolis, which is an interactive exhibition where you are one of three mighty pigeons exploring and going on missions across NYC! This is close to Glenwood’s Westside and Upper East Side buildings.

Sloomoo Institute is located at 475 Broadway. If your child is currently on the slime obsessed ban-wagon, then this is the place for you! You can make personalized slime, interact with slime games and exhibits, and get slimed yourself! This is a fun way for you kid to express creative choices in making their own slime picking out their own texture, color, scent, and sparkles without having them make a mess at home! Tickets are available online at sloomooinstitute.com and you need to reserve a time slot online before you go. This institute is located closest to Glenwood’s downtown residents.
