RAE (aka RAE BK) is a street artist, painter and sculptor who was born and raised Brooklyn, New York. His murals, paste-ups and 3-dimensional found-object sculptures can be found on city streets worldwide. Make Time For The 2015 Triennial: Surround Audience, at The New Museum
The New Museum's Triennial is the only recurring international exhibition in New York City devoted to early-career artists from around the world. Featuring fifty-one artists from over twenty-five countries, The building-wide exhibition encompasses a variety of artistic practices, including sound, dance, comedy, poetry, installation, sculpture, painting, video, one online talk show, and an ad campaign. We recently visited (twice!) and found new, fun and interesting things each time. Totally worth a trip, especially on one of these rainy Spring days.

Keep in mind, these types of events are always crowded!

I saw it opening weekend; every weekend since then, social media feeds have been full of friends choosing different Wiley paintings to Instagram or tweet. If Wiley's work looks familiar, perhaps you caught it back in 2011, when his paintings were featured on top of 500 New York City taxi cabs while some may recognize his works which adorn the Lyon’s family mantelpieces in the hit show Empire.

Rossopomodoro’s Great Pizza Now Available Outside of Italy (and Eataly)
You can take the pizzeria out of Eataly, but you can’t take Eataly out of the pizzeria. That’s why when Rossopomodoro, the international chain with 120 locations, including Eataly in Chicago and New York, opens its second Manhattan. The tasty menu includes everything from winter caprese salad to rigatoni with short-rib ragù. But pizza is the star, made with naturally leavened dough and baked in a gold-mosaic-tiled wood-burning oven. Hungry yet??? We are.
