The Madison Square Park Conservancy’s art exhibition is a sprawling sculpture that consists of 6 golden canopies suspended above the park’s pathways. The shining example of NYC public art, creates a vivid, mirage-like effect, hence its name. Fata Morgana emanates a warm, inviting brightness throughout the park. The New Museum's Triennial is the only recurring international exhibition in New York City devoted to early-career artists from around the world. Featuring fifty-one artists from over twenty-five countries, The building-wide exhibition encompasses a variety of artistic practices, including sound, dance, comedy, poetry, installation, sculpture, painting, video, one online talk show, and an ad campaign. We recently visited (twice!) and found new, fun and interesting things each time. Totally worth a trip, especially on one of these rainy Spring days.
