The Farmhouse Fresh Philosophy at Tribeca’s Telepan Local
Famed farm-to-table Chef Bill Telepan adds a sequel to his Upper West Side Telepan restaurant. The new(er) Tribeca location is “much cooler in clientele and price” offering American small plates and mains that make wildly creative use of high-quality local ingredients. The high-energetic, wood-paneled space has an Aspen vibe and is a bit on the side, but lovely service adds the perfect warmth for the upcoming chillier Holiday month.

The Upper West Side gets a healthy new eating option, Communal Oven and Earth
Opened last Spring, The Upper West Side welcomes the health-conscience cafe, Communal Oven & Earth. Communal isn't vegetarian, or vegan, though there are plenty of options here if you are. The menu(s) contain fresh, quality ingredients, prepared simply and with care, all at reasonable prices. I went toWe recently ventured out to Communal last week and and thoroughly enjoyed most everything about the casual atmosphere, friendly servers, and, most important, my dinner.
