A Historic, Seaside Getaway

While you may think of Newport, Rhode Island as a summer-only destination, we have to show you The Chanler at Cliff Walk. Skip the summertime crowds and take a romantic seaside getaway during the winter. Not only will you bundle up for all the beach walks you can imagine, but you can take in the gorgeous mansions guarding the coast. Set out to explore boutiques and ocean side restaurants, or enjoy an after-dinner drink at The Chanler’s crackling fire pit under a sky of winter stars.

In the Catskills

The North Branch Inn and The Arnold House are sister properties nestled in the Catskill Mountains, and both are amazing. Not only is the decor that cool, rustic chic minimalist vibe, but it feels like a true escape from the city. The restaurants at both are phenomenal – farm to table fresh with locally sourced ingredients. Hitting the Slopes

If skiing and snow tubing are on your list of favorite winter activities, you don’t have to drive hours and hours upstate to snow-covered mountains. About 45 minutes north of the city lays Hamburg, New Jersey’s Crystal Springs Resort.
