Take Care of Your Apartment

If you love to clean and organize and are looking for some tips for your Glenwood apartment, be sure to catch Maria Kondo’s Netflix series,  Tiding Up With Maria Kondo. Maria Kondo is a Japanese organizing guru with four bestselling books, appearances on the Ellen show and her own Netflix show. In her Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up book, she coins The KonMari Method, which is removing items from your home that do not spark joy in you. You simply touch an item and if it brings you joy, you keep it, if it does not you donate or throw it out. She uses this method will all items in her house from clothing, to decorative items, to those childhood school projects parents keep around.

Maria Kondo also goes into depth about how to properly fold your clothes to make sure you can see all of your items. Rather than piling shirts on top of one another she folds them into little standing squares and lines them into a drawer.
